BLACK TEA

BLACK TEA
Loose leaf black teas are famed for their inspiring, uplifting character and moderately strong and well-balanced flavor. Excellent choice in the morning or early afternoon.

Black Tea is most often grown in India, Sri Lanka and China. It is a product of an evergreen Camellia Sinensis plant. Freshly picked leaves are withered, rolled into shape and then left to oxidize or ferment until they turn black. Finally, the completely oxidized leaves are dried or fired to stop the oxidation.

The tea plant is truly miraculous. Clinical scientists are continually researching the huge variety of health benefits released from these unique leaves. To discover abundant benefits of tea, please visit our Learning Zone.
